FAQ
Questions about Forever Crew
How to choose gear, find a crew and plan shared evenings.
How do I find a steady WoW Forever group?
Forever Crew is a community party finder for World of Warcraft Forever players. Create a profile with your class, role, faction, playstyle and available evenings. Save it to see compatible crews, then request a place. If no crew fits yet, open Organizer and create your own party. You need a saved profile and no existing crew or invitation. You automatically join as leader and can invite applicants and plan meetings. One active crew per player.
How do I find BiS gear for my class, specialization and level?
Open Equipment and choose a class, specialization and level: 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or 60. Each PvE set lists items by slot, alternatives, enhancements and acquisition information. Hover over an item for a quick tooltip, or click or tap it to open its full stats, effects and available set bonuses on Forever Crew. The library uses saved item data with its build and extraction date shown. Sets above level 30 are preliminary and may change.
Which roles are needed in a five-player party?
Each crew has five places: one tank, one healer and three damage dealers (DPS). Its card shows the filled places and open roles. An invitation reserves a place while the player decides whether to accept it.
Can I find a crew that fits my evenings and time zone?
Yes. Choose your available days, start and end times, and time zone in your profile. Matching requires at least one shared hour between your schedule and the crew schedule, with time zones taken into account. The start and end of each time window must be on the same day.
Which preferences does crew matching compare?
Matching compares region, game mode, ruleset, faction, language and playstyle. A crew also needs an open place for your role and at least one shared hour. You can update these preferences in your profile. Recommended character levels are shown separately and do not automatically block a request.
How do I join a crew after submitting a request?
The organizer reviews your request and may send an invitation. Open My crew and accept it to join the party. A request alone does not reserve a place; an invitation does. After accepting, you can view the roster and confirm attendance for scheduled evenings.
Where can I see the recommended character levels?
The crew card and details show its recommended level range. The organizer can set whole-number levels from 1 to 60, such as 20–30, or leave the range unspecified. This is guidance for players: your profile does not currently store a character level, and requests are not automatically restricted by level.
How do we plan the next dungeon night?
The organizer schedules an evening with a title, date, time, duration and meeting notes. Once you have accepted the crew invitation, you can answer that you are in, might attend or cannot make it. Your crew can see your answer; the meeting time is displayed in your profile time zone.
Can I add my BattleTag and Discord, and who sees them?
You can add a Discord username and an optional BattleTag to your profile. The site owner can read saved profiles. A player leading a crew can read profiles and contacts only from applicants to their crew. Players invited to your crew can see the names, classes, roles, Discord usernames and BattleTags of its members. Other players cannot browse the list of player profiles.
Is there a Russian interface, and can I choose my crew language?
US and RU in the header switch the interface between English and Russian. The choice is saved in a browser cookie. Your party language is a separate profile preference: choose it in the Language field so matching can find crews that use the same language.
Can I plan a future Hardcore crew?
Yes. Select Hardcore as the game mode in your profile or crew settings to plan a future party. The interface marks this mode as arriving after launch. Creating a crew here does not mean the game mode is already available and does not create a character in the game.
